An opportunity for teens to explore the Catholic Faith

Maybe you’ve been coming to Mass with a friend.
Maybe you’ve grown up around Christianity but never felt “at home.”
Maybe you’ve been praying in your own way and you’re wondering if God is real, or if there’s more to life than what you can see.

Whatever brought you here: you are welcome!

And you don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.

We run a relaxed, teen-friendly journey for Year 11–13 students who are curious about becoming Catholic. or who simply want to explore Jesus and the Catholic faith in a safe space where questions are allowed.

What is this programme exactly?

It’s a weekly group where you can:

  • ask honest questions (even the awkward ones),

  • learn the basics of what Catholics believe and why,

  • experience prayer in a real, non-cringey way,

  • meet others on the same journey,

  • take steps at your own pace.

Some students who join are already baptised (or christened) in another church. Some aren’t baptised at all. Some have been baptised Catholic but never really practised. You’ll be welcome whichever story is yours.

The sessions are about 1.5 hours during the school term, and it begins in Term 2 and finishes in Term 1 the following year.

At least one parent is invited to take part.

Do I have to be religious to come?

Not at all! You don’t need to know how to pray, own a Bible, or understand Mass.

This is for people who are curious, not “experts.”

Am I locked in if I sign up?

Nah! Signing up and filling out the expression of interest form below simply means you’re interested in exploring. You can come along, see what it’s like, and decide later whether you want to continue.

  • You can pause at any time.

  • You can step away at any time.

  • You don’t have to make a big decision on Week 1.

Our goal is not to pressure you! It’s to help you discover, freely and honestly, what you’re searching for.

Do I need my parents’ permission?

Yup! Because you’re under 18, we require parent/guardian permission for you to be involved. Also, they are very much welcome to come along to the formation evenings.

What do I do now?
