Who is this programme for?

The programme is designed for children in Year 8, though we accept older children who, for whatever reason, missed the programme at this age. 

When does it begin?

Our parish Confirmation Programme for children begins in Term One each year.  

The Confirmation Path: Your Steps and Stages

The Confirmation Programme allows the candidates to dive deep into scripture,

understand the Sacrament of Confirmation, and learn about the gifts and the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

It involves 9 weeks of lessons on Wednesdays (no lessons during school holidays) and also a confirmation retreat.

Enrolments

Cost for 9-week programme: $110, which includes:

  • Youth Catechism for each child (which they keep)

  • Photocopying

  • Other course materials needed

  • The weekend retreat


No child should miss out on the sacraments due to financial hardship.
