Who is this programme for?
Our First Holy Communion Programme is for baptised children in Year 4 and above.
What does it cost?
We ask for a payment of $50 to cover the costs of resources, text books and the day retreat. Finances should not stop a child receiving the sacraments, so please contact the office if you are in financial need and we will be able to assist.
The First Holy Communion Path: Steps and Stages
The programme begins with a parent meeting on Wednesday 24 July 7pm. The children's formation will consist of 12 Wednesday sessions beginning 31 July.
The first 6 sessions will prepare the children for Reconciliation, while the following 6 sessions will prepare them for the Eucharist.
They will learn about the importance of the Eucharist in a safe and engaging environment.
