TMIY - That Man Is You

TMIY is a faith sharing men’s group that allows us to encourage each other to live out our faith in practical ways, drawing strength and inspiration from the Word and through fellowship. Our faith sharing is centred around Lectio Divina (Divine Reading), and prayerful way in reading the Gospel to help each of us to "Hear the Word, Share the Word, and be Resolving about the Word". In this way we take what we've learned and apply it to our daily lives. In a group of 8 men, the Word of God is going to find a home in 8 different ways. In Faith-sharing, the leader guides us to talk about how the Word this week strengthens me, challenges me, or urges me to change, and in what ways. Through this exchange, we grow, not only in our own response to the Word but also from hearing the responses of other members. We support each other in facing our challenges and taking action to become more fully Christian in our daily lives.
